Robert Wayne Barron, 81, of Madison, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born on January 10, 1945, in Ferriday, Louisiana, he grew up in Shreveport and graduated from Woodlawn High School. For most of his life he worked as a salesman. He enjoyed boating on Lake Ouachita and took great pleasure in teaching many people how to waterski. His warm presence and generous spirit touched all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Wesley Barron and Nocomas Poole Barron. He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Barron Roberson, and son-in-law, Beau Roberson, of Madison, Mississippi; grandchildren John Barron Roberson of Jackson, Mississippi, and Sarah Roberson Hamilton and her husband, Brandon Hamilton, of Madison; two great-grandchildren; his brother, Wesley Dale Barron; and nephew, John Wesley Barron, both of Shreveport.

His memory will live on in the stories and love shared by all who knew him.
