Otter River, MA
Robert T. Martioski, 92, of Otter River, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in Alliance Health at Baldwinville following a period of declining health.
Born in Gardner on September 2, 1933, he was the son of the late Joseph J. Sr. and Lillian R. (Colon) Martioski. Robert worked for many years as a steelworker with C&W Fabricators until his retirement. An avid bowler, he participated in various leagues throughout Gardner and enjoyed playing cards and watching his favorite game shows. He is survived by his son, Gary A. Martioski of Athol; his daughter, Lori J. Martioski-Taylor and her husband Clark of Germantown, Maryland; three grandchildren, Madison Taylor, Erin Martioski, and Andrew Martioski; one great-grandchild; and his siblings, Pamela Martioski, Deborah Hart, Kathy Cormier, Kenneth Martioski, and Theresa Shappell, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Robert was predeceased by his wife, Shirley A. (Hentnik) Martioski, who died in 2011, and by his siblings, Joseph Martioski Jr., Daniel Martioski, Ann Nix, Pearl Evans, Beverly Racine, Lillian Newton, and Rosemary Uppgard.
