Robert T. Krohn

Robert Krohn, 36, of Lisle, originally of Geneva, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 12, 2026, at his residence.

Born on May 3, 1989, in Downers Grove to Robert and Patricia (Lindstrom) Krohn, Rob embraced life with an adventurous spirit. Whether handed car keys or a passport, he was always ready to explore. He possessed a rare gift for befriending others through his wit, compassion, and natural charm. Equally content curled up with a book or surrounded by friends at a party, concert, or festival, Rob drew people into his circle with ease. His stories often began with the words “So me and my buddy…” He took great joy in his nieces and nephew, serving as their biggest cheerleader even from a distance. The titles of cousin and nephew fell short in describing the deep bonds he shared with his extended family. A devoted son and brother, he brought laughter to his parents and sisters, occasionally made them catch their breath, and remained ready to help in any way he could.

Rob is survived by his parents, Robert and Patricia Krohn; his sisters, Maggie (Keith) Goode of North Aurora and Elizabeth (Kevin) Roosa of Maine; his nieces and nephew, Eleanor and Holland Goode and Liam and Emily Roosa; and his loving partner, Kasey O’Meara. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Mary Krohn and Martin and Kay Lindstrom.
