Robert Stephen "Stevie" Galloway II

Robert Stephen "Stevie" Galloway II

November 25, 1966 March 5, 2026

Salt Lake City, UT

Robert Stephen Galloway II, lovingly known as Stevie, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, at the age of 59. Born on November 25, 1966, in Salt Lake City, Utah, he spent his life in the same city and in American Fork, where he resided for many years at the Utah State Developmental Center. The oldest son of Robert and Phyllis Galloway’s six children, Stevie is survived by his devoted mother, Phyllis Galloway, and his siblings Michael Galloway, Aaron Galloway, Elizabeth Galloway, and LeAnn Galloway. He also leaves behind seven nieces and nephews and seven great-nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Robert Stephen Galloway Sr., his older sister Kristina Prettyman, his grandparents, and many other beloved family members, Stevie touched countless lives with his radiant spirit and unmistakable smile. Despite profound physical limitations, he lived with remarkable bravery, repeatedly defying medical expectations. He found joy in simple pleasures—listening to music, walking in the garden, feeling the sun on his face, and spending time with friends and family. A man of few words, he communicated love, recognition, and connection in his own meaningful way.

Though his earthly body grew weary, Stevie is now free from pain and limitation. Those who loved him take comfort knowing he is reunited with his father and sister, welcomed with open arms. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
