Age 75, of Evergreen Park passed peacefully Monday, March 2, 2026, at Grace Point Place, Oak Lawn, IL. Bob was born in Chicago, IL to the late John and Elvira (nee Lazaric) Starshak.

Loving father of Larry (the late Lynn) Starshak; cherished grandfather of Joshua, Jeremy, Jacob, and Jenna; proud great grandfather of Anna, Riley, Jackson, and Cole; dear brother of the late Jack Starshak Jr, Kathryn (Rich) Smigleski, Marguerite “Pewe” (the late Joe) Cacciatore, Dave (Jean) Starshak, Jeanne (Dan) Moore, Peter Starshak, Michael Starshak, and MaryJo Starshak; loved uncle, cousin, and friend of all.

Bob was retired Financial Broker. He was an avid outdoors-man that especially loved fishing and golfing. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, cooking out or getting together for a special occasion or holiday. Bob will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 4:00 pm until time of Memorial Service at 7:00 pm.
