Robert Roll ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Canale Funeral Directors - Memphis on Mar. 10, 2026.Robert Randle Roll, 61, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on March 7, 2026, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.He was born and raised in Memphis and graduated from Central High School in 1983.Robert continued his education at Middle Tennessee State University, where he further developed the work ethic and determination that would guide him throughout his professional life.He spent 23 years with Seabrook Wallcoverings, where he built a successful and meaningful career. During his time with the company, Robert managed one of their retail stores before later transitioning into outside sales, a role in which he truly excelled. His dedication, leadership, and ability to build lasting relationships earned him the respect of colleagues and customers alike. Following his career at Seabrook Wallcoverings, Robert moved into the insurance industry, where he became a respected insurance agent and Vice President with Boyle Insurance Agency. Known for his integrity, professionalism, and genuine concern for his clients, Robert took great pride in helping others protect what mattered most to them.Outside of work, Robert was an avid golfer and a devoted sports fan, who loved cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers, the Tennessee Titans, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He also found great peace sitting on the front porch with his dogs while listening to classic 70s rock. Above all, Robert truly cherished spending time with his family, especially during holidays, Sunday dinners, and vacations to the beach, creating memories that will be treasured forever.He is survived by his wife, Nancy Pepple Roll; his son, Peyton (Kaylee); his granddaughter, Murphy; his sisters, Jan Murphey, Gina Hyneman (Randy), and Connie Holloway (Jim); as well as several nieces and nephews.Preceding him in death were his parents Bobby Lee and Dorthy Spencer Roll; his sister Marilyn Thomas; and son Parker Roll.Robert will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the positive impact he made on everyone who knew him. His legacy of hard work, loyalty, and love will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.Funeral arrangements are being coordinated by Canale Funeral Directors, located at 2700 Union Avenue Extended, Memphis, Tennessee 38112 (901-452-6400). Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Tee of Tennessee -firstteetennessee.org#donate and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
