Robert Ramiro Garza Sr.

Robert Ramiro Garza Sr., age 69, of Corpus Christi, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born on October 21, 1956, to Tomas Antonio Garza and Olga Bertha Domingas, he worked for TxDOT in Corpus Christi for more than twenty years. Robert loved baseball and football, especially following the Dallas Cowboys, though a loss could prompt him to switch his shirt to the Texans in playful frustration. He will be remembered for his lively sense of humor, his love of laughter, and his deep devotion to family.

Robert was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and especially a cherished grandpa. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tomas Antonio Garza and Olga Bertha Domingas, and his sisters, Gloria Medrano and Hilda Laura Garza.

He is survived by his wife, Anna M. Garza; his children, Robert Derrick Garza, Becky Mungia, John David (Julie) Garza, Cynthia (Sergio) Gamboa, Diana (Frank) Sanchez, Edward Anthony Garza, Guadalupe Mungia, Robert Ramiro (Elizabeth) Garza Jr., and Laura Ann (Marissa) Garza; his grandchildren, Ruben, Roland, Jayden, Jazon, Krista, Aaron, Ashley, Kate, Gavin, Anna, Isabella, Addie, Gabriela, Sophia, Madelynn, Frankie, Adrian, and Aiden; his great-grandchildren, Nikkie, Emily, Ava, Amora, and Amiera; his brother, Antonio Tomas (Irma) Garza; his sisters, Sylvia Armadillo and Irma (Kyler) Davis; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
