He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schug and Dorothy Schug (Weiler); his daughters, Julie Drinka and Cindy Schug; his daughters-in-law, Tonya Schug and Jowanda Schug; his siblings, Delbert Schug and Sally Whalpes; and his brothers-in-law, Howard Whalpes, Frank Beren, Lawrence Gajewski and Clem Hargraves.
He is survived by: his significant other Joanne Schug; his children, Sandy Neubauer, Bob Schug Jr., Lisa Kroening (Pete), Paul Schug (Amanda), Scott Schug, Kenneth Schug (Janae), Jennifer Mauer (Cory) and Jessica Sommer (John); his siblings, Caroline Beren, Joan Hargraves, Pat Boesl (Norb), George Schug Jr. (Jean), Delmar Schug (Charlotte), Sherry Literski (Jim), Pearl Guralski (Lyle) and Dorothy Gajewski; his sister-in-law Joline Schug; and his godsons, Nick Klimpke and Gary Gajewski. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Church and Again. A rosary will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (417 Caroline St, Athens, WI 54411). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
