Robert P. Lunger

Robert P. Lunger, 71, of Altoona, passed away on March 11, 2026, at UPMC Altoona. Born on June 24, 1954, in Altoona, he was the son of the late Paul R. and Leona M. (Notaro) Lunger.

He is survived by his wife Pamela, his son Michael, and his daughter Jessie (Ken) McAleer. He also leaves behind his three brothers, David, Doug, and Glenn, several nieces and nephews, and his dearest friends Ed and Dennis. A 1973 graduate of Altoona Area High School, Robert worked for many years before retiring and continued part-time at Boyer Candy. He found great joy in his model trains and the quiet pleasures of time spent with family and close friends.

Robert will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of simple enjoyments, and the warmth he brought to those closest to him. Services will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
