Robert Odachowski ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Solimine Funeral Homes - Broadway on Mar. 17, 2026.Robert Michael Odachowski, resident of Lynnfield, Massachusetts and Bartlett, New Hampshire, born August 20, 1948, passed away surrounded by family on March 7, 2026.Robert was the beloved son of Stanley and Marion Odachowski and the brother of Stan Odachowski and brother-in-law to Carol Odachowski.He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Alice Odachowski; his children, Laura (Odachowski) Pierce and her husband Bruce Pierce, Matthew Odachowski and his wife Kimberley Odachowski; and his cherished grandchildren, Benjamin and Genevieve Pierce, and Martha and William Odachowski.Bob graduated from Lynn English High School, where he served as captain of the 1966 baseball team and was also a member of the 1967 Lynn Post 291 Baseball State Championship Team. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University.He built a distinguished career in telecommunications and technology, spending 30 years with the New England Telephone/Bell System and retiring as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Information Resources at NYNEX. He later served as National Operations Director for Volt Information Sciences and Vice President at Amdocs. In retirement, he was a member of the Directory Alumni Council (DAC).Outside of work, he enjoyed international travel and exploring new places with family. He and Alice especially loved antiquing and spending weekends searching for unique finds with history and character.Robert will be remembered for his dedication to family, his strong work ethic, and his lifelong love of baseball. His family and friends will remember him with love and gratitude for the life he lived and the many lives he touched.In lieu flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army Massachusetts Division, [email protected].
