Robert Michael McKinney

Robert Michael McKinney was born on December 24, 1962, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and passed away peacefully at his home on March 13, 2026, at the age of 63. A warm and fun-loving man, Robert cherished his family above all else. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his easy smile, and the simple pleasures he embraced throughout his life.

For more than twenty years, Robert worked as a Boiler Room Technician. In his free time, he found joy in fishing, playing horseshoes, and watching NASCAR and wrestling. He was a faithful member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, where his presence was greatly valued.

Robert is survived by his loving daughters, Elizabeth Matlock, Crystal Lunsford, and Amanda Rice; his brothers, Riley McKinney Jr., Henry Derrick, Joe Derrick, and Craig Derrick; his sisters, Karen McKinney, Robin Hutson, and Sabrina McDonald; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who brought him immense happiness. He was preceded in death by his father, Riley Marion McKinney, and his mother, Maggie Wilkerson McKinney.
