Robert Michael "Bob" Lezotte

Robert Michael Lezotte, known affectionately as Bob, was the eldest son of Robert J. and Beatrice R. (Sansone) Lezotte. He passed away on March 6, 2026, after a brief illness, and was welcomed into Heaven by his parents and sister Carol Lezotte.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, and their two daughters, Rachel Hammond (Ben) and Rebecca Lezotte (Zach Copeland), as well as his cherished grandson, Lucas Hammond. Bob is also survived by his five siblings and their spouses: Barbara Lezotte Miller (John Patrick Miller), Stephen Lezotte (Jackie), Diane Lezotte Bell (Jim Bell), David Lezotte (Diane), and Dennis Lezotte (Reanae), along with many nieces and nephews and their spouses: John Miller, Jennifer Miller Karsten (Alec), Stephen Lezotte (Tracy), Adam Lezotte (Chelsea), Daniel Lezotte (Renee), David P. Lezotte (Sylvia), Robert Lezotte (Marci), Andrew Lezotte, and William Lezotte.

A graduate of Cherry Hill High School in Inkster, Bob worked for many years at Ford Motor Company’s Wayne Assembly Plant before retiring in 2008. In retirement, he found joy in playing golf and bowling, working on projects around his house, and caring for his beloved cats, Midnight and Skeeter. An animal lover at heart, he remained devoted to his family and the simple pleasures that brought him peace.
