We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2026, at the age of 44, Robert Mays Jr. (Pensacola, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Robert has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Era Fay Mays and Robert Mays Sr.; and his grandmother Minnie C. Hawthorne. He is survived by: his children, Robert Mays III, Nevaeh Mays and Maurice Mays; and his brother Gary Mays. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Tracy Morton Memorial Chapel (55 Coast Rd, Pensacola, FL 32507). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
