Robert M. Cecchine

Robert M. Cecchine, age 79, of Springfield, Pennsylvania, formerly of Overbrook, passed away on March 14, 2026. He served proudly in the United States Army and worked for 30 years at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. A longtime member of the American Legion, Robert found joy in following classic cars and collecting model trains.

He was predeceased by his parents, Rita (née Matrone) and Cosmo Cecchine, and his sister-in-law Angela DiPolo. Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Marie (née DiPolo); his sons, Robert M. Jr. (Emma) and Michael J. (Ashley); his four grandchildren, Gabriel, Andrew, Paige, and Mason; his brother-in-law, Robert DiPolo (Donna); and his sister-in-law, Terri Molitor.

Robert will be remembered as a dedicated husband, proud father and grandfather, and a man who lived a life of service and quiet passions. His family was at the center of his world, and the love he shared with them remains his lasting legacy.
