Robert Lucas Jr.

Robert Leroy Lucas Jr. was born on November 18, 1970, in Marietta, Ohio, and passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2026, at the age of 55. The son of the late Robert Leroy Lucas and Judy Ann Jarrett (Nunn), he remained a proud Ohioan throughout his life. His steadfast loyalty to the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns brought him joy, as did his skill and camaraderie at the dartboard, where he spent many evenings enjoying music and the company of friends. Robert loved the outdoors, spending summers grilling and savoring Bud Light, and cherished every opportunity to be by the river. He worked in construction for most of his life and took pride in his ability to fix nearly anything.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole; his children, Devan Palmer (Zakk Palmer), Ryan Lucas, Tristan Lucas, Trinity Jackson, Rainey Lucas, Lilly Lucas, and Adriana Lucas; his brother, Mike; his grandchildren, Aidan Martin, Ashton Martin, Elana Palmer, and Eden Palmer; his cousins, Pam Nunn, Sabrina Nunn, and Waynett Nunn; many nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of friends. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Judy; his father, Robert; his stepfather, Wayne Jarrett; his aunt, Shirley Nunn; his uncle, Wayne Nunn; his son, Jayden Lucas; and many other relatives.
