(Bob) McClary was born June 26, 1934 in Spokane, Washington to William and Esther McClary.Growing up, Bob spent much of his childhood with his maternal grandparents Henry and Hannah Lund. When he was 16, he became emancipated and began working on a small dairy farm while finishing high school.Bob's early life wasn't easy but perhaps one of his happiest moments was during his time at school when he met and fell in love with Dolores Burt. Their first date was on Valentine's Day 1950 and in 1955 Bob married his high school, sweetheart. Together, they raised four children, all of whom he was incredibly proud of.Along with the deep love he had for family, Bob found the work he did very fulfilling. Bob went to work for McCall oil in 1963 where he spent 25 years working his way from truck driver to branch manager. In 1988, he began working for Franklin County as Maintenance Supervisor. Retirement came in July 1999.Outside of his work, Bob enjoyed being an active member of the Ye Old Car Club where he fixed up old cars, helped to grow community enthusiasm for vintage cars and developing lifelong friendships. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping and fishing.Bob is survived by the love of his life, Dolores, daughter - Debbie Spurling (Dave), sons - Bob Jr (Debbie), Ron (Pam) and Steve McClary. Eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Sister-in-law Erlene McClary, brother-in-law, Darrell Burt (Joyce), and numerous nieces and nephews.He was proceeded in death by parents, William and Esther McClary, his sister, Lois Moller, brother-in-law, Duane Moller and his brother William (Bill) McClary, sister-in-law, Jackie Burt and brother-in-law Len Burt.His celebration of life will be held on March 28, 2026 at 1 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Center, 9353 W.
