Robert Price ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory - Branson on Mar. 11, 2026.Robert Lee Price, 98, of Branson, peacefully entered into rest on March 5, 2026 at his home.Bob was born on September 5, 1927 in Kansas City, KS to George Austin and (Ethel) Mae (Coy) Price. After graduating from Argentine High School in 1946, he enlisted in the United States Army with the Military Police and played football on the Army team.After being Honorably Discharged in 1948, Bob pursued his lifelong passion for cars and went to work for a used car lot. Over the years he became the General Manager of a New Car Dealership, then a partner, then ultimately built Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield, MO where he stayed until he retired.In addition to his passion for cars, Bob loved hunting and fishing, was an avid golfer, planted flowers and trees everywhere he lived, and listened to music for hours, particularly jazz. He also logged countless hours watching all sports on TV, but mostly football, especially his beloved Chiefs.Bob was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mae Price; one son, Robert Wade (Bobby) Price; and one brother, George A Price, Jr.Bob will be deeply missed by Stella Shelton of Branson who was blessed to have shared his life for the past 25 years, sons Stephen Austin Price of Springfield, MO, Daniel Troy Price of Austin, TX, his sister, Marilyn Hamm and her husband Tom Hamm of Little Rock, AR, grandchildren, Colby Austin Price and Morgan Reinart, and great grandson Caedin Austin Price.Graveside services will be in Maple Park Cemetery, Springfield, MO on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 12:00 pm with military honors.
