Robert Lavon Grizzle

Robert Lavon Grizzle of Lakeland, Florida, born on June 17, 1944, passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 81. Known affectionately as “Papa,” he lived a life marked by hard work, kindheartedness, and a deep, steadfast love for his family and his Savior, Jesus Christ. His presence and the values he embodied will remain a lasting part of all who knew him.

He is survived by his five children, Robert Thomas Grizzle, Debra Lynn Tyler, Brian Frank Grizzle, Jonathan David Grizzle, and Christina Gail Morris; his siblings, Russell Grizzle, Gary Grizzle, John E. Grizzle, Billy Grizzle, and Shirley Grizzle; and many grandchildren and other cherished family members, including Jessica, Zachary, Anna, Margaret, Malachi, Michael L., Lilly, Ashton, Elizabeth, Jariel, Jared, Jonael, Josiah, Aleiris, Alianis, Michael J., Eva, Jerrod, and Ethan.
