Robert L. Price

Robert L. Price, 82, of Perry Heights, passed away on March 9, 2026.

Born on August 16, 1943, in Canton, Ohio, Bob spent most of his life in Perry Heights. He served with pride as a United States Marine, stationed at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. In 1964, he was awarded the Navy Marine Corps Medal for his heroism in helping rescue seven fellow Marines from a crashed helicopter.

After retiring from the Timken Company following 30 years of service, Bob owned the Elbowroom in Massillon for several years. He found great joy in playing golf and was known for his warm, outgoing nature. Bob never met a stranger and always had a joke ready to share.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carmen Price; his mother, Evelyn Price; and his siblings, Chuck Brownfield, Eileen Burd, and Maxine Battista. Bob is survived by his son, Sean Price, and his grandchildren, Tyler and Hope Price.
