Robert L. MacSweeney

Robert L. MacSweeney, known affectionately as Bob, age 74, of Tewksbury, formerly of Wilmington, passed away on March 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on April 7, 1951, in Somerville, Massachusetts, Bob was the cherished son of the late Mortimer and Marie (O’Leary) MacSweeney. He was raised and educated in Somerville.

Bob was the beloved husband of Pamela (Munyon) MacSweeney and the devoted father of Joseph MacSweeney, Sean MacSweeney, and the late Ryan MacSweeney, all of Tewksbury. He was the dear brother of Debbie MacSweeney, Jimmy MacSweeney and his wife Judy, Laura McDonough and her husband William, Mark MacSweeney, and the late Michael MacSweeney. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Bob will be remembered for the deep love he held for his family and the quiet strength and warmth he brought to their lives.
