Gross of Hicksville, NY passed away on March 3, 2026, at the age of 78 followinghospitalization while recovering from a fall.He was the loving and devoted husband of Carol for 55 years; beloved father of Jennifer (Bob)and cherished Papa to Angelina, Lydia, and Lila. He was the beloved brother of Christina andwas preceded in death by his sister, Marilynn, and his parents, Robert and Olga. Bob also deeplyloved his roles as a brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, godfather, and friend.Known to many as "Bob, Bobby or Mr. G," with a giant smile and gentle spirit. He servedfamilies throughout Long Island for over 50 years as a Funeral Director. He believed this workwas his calling in life and was a true blessing to countless families during their most difficulttimes.Bob loved his Lord and Savior, and through that faith we have the reassurance that he nowrests in eternal peace.Visitation will be held at Roslyn Heights Funeral Home on Sunday, March 15th from 3-8PM.On Monday, March 16th a viewing will be held from 10-11AM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church with a Funeral Service at 11AM.Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial gifts made to Long Island Lutheran Middle & HighSchool (LuHi), a place Bob valued deeply and supported with joy.
