Robert Joseph Cacciola, a beloved husband, father, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, in Arlington, Texas at the age of 81. Born on May 18, 1944, in Bronx, New York, Robert was the son of Agatino and Adeline Cacciola, who predeceased him.
Throughout his life, Robert embraced a career in construction with the Federal Aviation Administration for the U.S. Coast Guard, demonstrating his commitment to service and hard work. He received his education from Iona College, which laid the foundation for a well-rounded and fulfilling life.
Robert married his Beloved wife, Dhalma Morales Cacciola, in 1973, and together they built a beautiful family that he took immense pride in. He is survived by his wife Dhalma, as well as his sons Keith and his wife Laura, and Craig and his wife Melainie Dieppa. Robert was also a doting grandfather to Hazel and Oliver Cacciola, who brought him much joy and happiness.
A man of many interests, Robert was known for his great sense of humor and his numerous hobbies, which included photography, baseball, and paddle ball. He coached and played baseball, sharing his passion for the sport with many, and leaving a memorable mark on those he interacted with.
Robert's spirit will be honored at a memorial service on March 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM at 401 Elm St, Mansfield, Texas. The service will conclude at 3:00 PM, allowing family and friends the opportunity to celebrate Robert's remarkable life and the profound impact he had on those around him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Agatino and Adeline Cacciola, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Antoinette and Frank Santospirito, Erma and Benedict Santospirito, Leon and Lee Marrano, Audrey Salib, Francis Santospirito; grandparents Nicola and Caterina Marrano; In-Laws Jorge and Berta Morales and others who were dear to him.
Robert Joseph Cacciola will be remembered as an amazing son, husband, father, and loyal friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness, love, and unwavering support. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and humor that will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
