Robert J. Pool Jr., of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Robert J. Pool Sr. and Edna L. (nee Dodson) Miller-Forbes. He passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in Cedar Hill at the age of 63.

Preceded in death by his sisters Lori Dotson and Suzanne Frieders, Robert is survived by his parents, Robert J. Pool Sr. and Edna L. (nee Dodson) Miller-Forbes; his children, Robert J. Pool III, Zackery D. Pool, and Faith N. Pool; his grandchildren, Mason A. Pool, Kyler M. Oliver, Adelyn G. Gaynor, Kaelyn R. Gaynor, Hailie J. Pool, and Olivia L. Pool; his siblings, William “Danny” Forbes, Jason Forbes, Stephen Pool, and Karen Forbes; and his nephews and niece, Jason Fatch, Burley Forbes, and Trisha Jones, along with many other extended family members and friends.

Known to those closest to him as “Bob” or “Uncle Bobby,” he found deep satisfaction in life’s quieter pleasures. He held a lifelong passion for music, both as a dedicated listener and as a musician himself. He also enjoyed the patient pursuit of arrowhead hunting, drawn to the history and stories each discovery carried. A proud United States Army veteran, Robert lived with a strong sense of duty and honor. Above all, he cherished the companionship of his pets, who brought him comfort and joy. His quick wit, intelligence, and genuine curiosity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
