Robert "Bob" J. O'Leary

Robert J. “Bob” O’Leary, age 63, of Shaler Township, passed away surrounded by his children on Friday, March 13, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Moran) O’Leary and the loving father of Michael (Emilie) O’Leary, Katie (Nick) Krotec, Joseph (Lauren) O’Leary, and Shannon (Keith) Goetz. He was the proud Pap of Jackson, Liam, Jameson, and Lainey.

Known for his sharp wit and unmistakable sarcasm, Bob was wise, bright, loyal, and unbelievably stubborn—qualities that made him both unforgettable and deeply loved by those who knew him. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, sports, and the ocean, and never passed up the chance to dive into a good true crime show on Netflix. Above all, he was the biggest cheerleader to his grandchildren and cherished most the time he spent with the people he loved.
