Robert J. “Bob” Larcome Jr., age 78, of Haverhill, formerly of Methuen, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Waltham, Massachusetts on June 14, 1947, Bob was the son of the late Robert J. Larcome Sr. and Lucille Larcome. A graduate of Waltham High School, Class of 1965, he spent the last 25 years of his career as an HVAC technician with Stark and Cronk. Known for his strong work ethic and reliability, he took quiet pride in his trade and the relationships he built through it.
Bob shared 42 years of marriage with the love of his life, Mary A. (Colella) Larcome, creating a home rooted in love, family, and steadfast devotion. After Mary’s passing in 2013, he found companionship with Rose Morrill and their dog, Buster. He held a lifelong love for the ocean and the beach, and he cherished traveling to coastal places, where he found peace and joy in the company of those dearest to him.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher Larcome and his wife Tiffany of Atkinson, New Hampshire, and Jeffrey Larcome and his wife Kara of North Andover, Massachusetts; his four grandchildren, Jack, Sam, Zoe, and Emilia, who brought him immense pride and happiness; his brother, Jay R. Larcome and his wife Linda of Scarborough, Maine; and many extended family members, nieces, and nephews. Bob will be remembered as a devoted father, proud grandfather, brother, and loyal friend.
