Robert J. Firestone passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on August 4, 1972, he was known for his deep affection for the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees, and for the laughter and warmth he brought to everyone around him.
Bob worked for the City of Linden in the Public Works Department from 1998 until his retirement in 2024. He is survived by his mother, Arlene Theresa (Matturro) Firestone; his father, Robert Thomas Firestone; his brother, Michael Firestone, and Michael’s wife, Traci Firestone; his aunt, Carol, and uncle, Jack; his niece, Madison; his nephew, Chase; and his cousins Bonnie and Erin, along with many other loving cousins.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
