Blais Jr 64 of Boylston passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston, with his loving wife bedside.Bob was born in Worcester, MA, the son of the late Robert J. and Delores J. (Snyder) Blais. He graduated from Tahanto Regional High School, Class of '78' He worked as a Wire Technician for many years after an earlier career in the printing industry as a Print Finisher.Bob is survived by his wife of 20 years, Lisa M. (Eycleshymer) Blais of Boylston, 3 daughters, Sarah Blais and her wife Rachael of Templeton, Stephanie Blais and her wife Amica of VT, Kimberly Szocik and her husband Chad of Gardner, a son Joshua Gauthier and partner Cara Wickham of NY, 2 granddaughters, Kai, Noelle and grandson, Avery, 5 months. Brothers, Steven Blais and his wife Karen of Auburn, Michael Blais and his wife Deb of Berlin, Paul Blais and his wife Laura of TN, a sister, MaryAnn Tivnan and her husband Bill of Boylston as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.Bob enjoyed the outdoors whether it was up north in the mountains, an afternoon drive, a day at the coastline or a simple relaxing day on our deck just watching the birds and wildlife that pass throughout the day in any season. He loved to fish and enjoyed teaching his children to fish at an early age. Surfcasting was most special to him where he could combine his most favorite place to be with his favorite pastime.He loved to tinker and so enjoyed helping others whether it be wood working, fixing cars, home repair, yard work and gardening - he was an all-around fix-it handyman. If he didn't know how to fix something, he could always figure it out.Bob loved his family and friends with fierce yet quiet passion. An extremely humble man who has touched the hearts of everyone he's known in his lifetime and had a profound impact on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2006 at 1 pm in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MAVisitation will be held prior to his service from 11-1 also in the Funeral Home.A Private Burial will be held at a later date.To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Robert "Bob" J.
