The memory of Robert H. Lewis of Solvay, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on March 7, 2026 at the age of 69, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Robert leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Lewis and Mary Catherine Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Shirleen Capozzolo Lewis; his children, Frank Lewis, James Lewis, Amy Rose (Josh), John Capozzolo (Laura) and Anthony Capozzolo (Lizz); and his siblings, Joan Trusilo of Manlius and Joseph W. Lewis (Lucille) of Dewitt. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tindall Funeral Home (1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13204). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Chapel at Most Holy Rosary Church (111 Roberts Ave, Syracuse, NY 13207).
