Robert Glenn Baker of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away on March 7, 2026, while under the care of Kansas City Hospice House. Born on December 4, 1956, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Jerry Kenneth and Oleta Underdown Baker, Bob lived a life marked by quiet dedication and steadfast friendships.
He enjoyed a 25-year career at Sam’s Club, where he was a member of the UFCW Union and began as a meat cutter. Bob was known for his love of the Kansas City Chiefs and his passion for fast cars. He was preceded in death by his wife, Candy Baker, his parents, and his brother, Victor Duane Baker.
Bob is survived by many cousins in Arkansas and two devoted friends, Stacey Fox and Steve Liggett, who provided invaluable support and companionship during the final years of his life. A private burial will take place in Batesville, Arkansas, at Oaklawn Cemetery, where his parents and brother are interred.
