Robert George Mock

Robert George Mock, 56, of Lower Burrell, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at his home. Born in Windber, he had been a resident of Lower Burrell for the past 21 years. A member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, he worked as a financial analyst for Synopsys in Canonsburg and previously for BNY Mellon.

He found joy in cars, particularly Mustangs, and in sports, especially basketball and watching his children’s games. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and caring for them. He also held a special place in his heart for his dog, Molly, and his cats, Lucy and his best buddy, Yoshi.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jennifer Clyde Mock; three children, Lauren Mock (fiancé, Ben Richards) of Seven Fields, Tyler Mock (fiancée, Maddy Gormley) of Forest Hills, and Megan Mock of Lower Burrell; his mother, Janet C. Soika (Thomas) Holsopple of Windber; his father, Francis F. (Marilyn) Mock of Bedford; his sister, Kimberly (Paul) Gentile of Sarver; his brother, Jeffrey Mock of Windber; nieces and nephews, Nick (Ashley) Gentile, Stephanie Gentile (Kenyon Parker), and Cameron Mock; and brothers-in-law, Donald Clyde of Roanoke, Virginia, and Gary (Robin) Clyde of Nanty Glo, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Lavon and Dwight Clyde.
