Robert Frank "Bob" Koch

Robert Frank "Bob" Koch

June 8, 1942 February 9, 2026

Milwaukee, WI

Robert Frank Koch, born June 8, 1942, passed away on February 9, 2026, surrounded by his family at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa. After enduring years of physical pain, Bob left this world peacefully, finally at rest.

A loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend to many, Bob served honorably in the United States Army. He spent three memorable years stationed in Germany, where he had the unique opportunity to work a military detail at The Masters golf tournament. Upon returning home, he built a distinguished thirty-one-year career with General Electric and was a proud member of the company’s Quarter-Century Club.

Bob was an avid golfer and talented bowler who never forgot the sting of the standing 8-pin that denied him a perfect 300 game, leaving him with a personal best of 289. He also cherished playing sheepshead and cribbage with family during holidays and special gatherings. He held especially dear the years he and his beloved wife, Georgian, spent living in Nevada. For forty-five years, through every joy and challenge, they remained steadfastly by each other’s side.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Leona (née Spors) and Frank Koch, and his wife, Georgian. He is survived by his brother, Jerry (Karen) Koch, along with many other relatives and friends who will always treasure his memory.
