He worked as a pilot and flight instructor and spent many years flying for Sun Bank, transporting materials between processing centers. Flying was not only his profession but also his favorite hobby, and he enjoyed piloting a four-seat aircraft and spending time in the skies whenever he could.Robert is survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Barbara Ehler.
