Robert F. Jones

Robert F. Jones, 86, of Hoffman Estates, was born on December 20, 1939, in Chicago and passed away on March 6, 2026, in Inverness.

He was the beloved and cherished husband of Janet M. Jones (nee Racette) for 63 years; loving father of Mike (Mary) Jones and Maureen (John) Greene; loving grandfather of Matt (Anna), Jacqueline, Tyler, Caylie and Adam; devoted great-grandfather of Brendan, Liam and Maeve Jones; dear son of the late Howard and Loretta (nee Spoeri) Jones; and fond older brother of Chuck (Judy) Jones, Nancy (Larry) Pray and the late Eddie (Ann) Jones. He was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a wonderful and kind man known for his unmatched positivity and deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. He cherished every moment spent with his family, whether in the Chicago area or Las Vegas, and enjoyed a long and successful career in sales at Kraft Foods. He will be greatly missed and warmly remembered by all who knew him.
