Robert F. Frederick

December 14, 1949 March 11, 2026

North Reading, MA

Robert F. Frederick, 76, of Revere, passed away on March 11, 2026, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He left this world peacefully, surrounded by the knowledge that he was deeply loved, admired, respected, and cherished as a true friend by so many.

Born and raised in Revere, Bob graduated from Wentworth Institute with an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He proudly served in the United States Navy for two years on active duty and four years in the reserves. He then enjoyed a long career of 40 years with the Telephone Company before retiring.

Bob had a lifelong passion for sports, especially the Celtics of old, the Red Sox, and the Patriots. He was always eager to play horseshoes, join a bowling league, gather with friends for poker nights, or host a Super Bowl party. He also loved camping and had a deep appreciation for music, particularly the songs of Bob Seger, George Thorogood, the Eagles, Celtic Women, and the Moody Blues. Those who knew him will remember him happily puttering around the house or yard, constantly designing or working on projects to create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home for his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Patricia, his daughter Kristin, his son Robert, and his grandson Jordan. He also leaves behind his siblings Stephen, Linda, Keith, and Cheryl, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, in-laws, and countless friends. Bob was predeceased by his first wife of 29 years, Barbara, his father Robert, his mother Joyce, and his sister Leah.
