Robert Day ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Clayton Funeral Home and Crematory - La Porte on Mar. 17, 2026.Robert E. (Bobby) Day, 51, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father Ronald Day, brother Ronny, and grandchildren Rinoa and Stevie Day. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jamie; mother, Sandy Dial; sons, Devin Day, and wife Nikki, and Nathan Maniscalco; daughters, Kristen Roe and husband Frank, Kassy Day, Darlene Day and husband Joseph, Brittany Maniscalco and husband Logan; and fourteen grandchildren, along with a host of many other family and friends.Bobby loved his wife Jamie and his family fiercely. His best friend was his mother, but his place on the couch came in a close second. Bobby loved giving bear hugs and handed them out frequently as well as knuckle sandwiches. Bobby was happy going anywhere as long as he was with the people he loved, to him that was home. He hated spending money but loved giving gifts to others. Bobby also loved the Astros, his dog Daisy, Dr. Pepper and Marlboro Reds. Pepper was too spicy and salt didn't add enough flavor, but if there was some white gravy he would eat anything. Bobby will be missed by all who knew and loved him.A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21st, at Clayton Funeral Home, 201 S 3rd St, La Porte, Texas, beginning at 2:00 pm.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
