Robert Edward Martin

Robert Edward Martin of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Martin, cherished son of the late Frank and Ruby Martin, and devoted father of Robyn (Bob) Mertens and Kelli Martin. Robert was a loving grandfather to David (Ashley), Benjamin (Sienna), Robby, Teagan, Nicholas, and Christopher, and a treasured great-grandfather to Chase, Emersyn, Otto, Edith, Ira, and Milo. He was preceded in death by his beloved black lab and duck hunting companion, Jezzy.

Robert found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly hunting, fishing, golfing, traveling, and spending time outdoors. His passions for fishing and duck hunting created many cherished memories, and he shared a special birthday bond with his great-grandchild Milo that he held dear. Devoted to his faithful black lab Jezzy, who was his constant companion, Robert was deeply loved by his family and all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
