Robert Earl Hoffman

Mr. Robert Earl Hoffman, age 75, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Robert was born January 2, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of the late Robert Charles Hoffman and the late Lucille Surles Hoffman.

He served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he was stationed throughout his entire military service. Robert Married the love of his life, Shane Boutwell Hoffman in 1972 and were married for 53 years. He was an avid sports fan, especially High School Football. He enjoyed taking rides out in the country.

Survivors include his wife Shane Boutwell Hoffman of Americus; a son and daughter-in-law, Ryan Slade Hoffman (Ginger) of Americus; a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Tria (John) of Belmont, NC; four grandchildren, Baylor Hoffman, Kyler Hoffman, Campbell Wiggins and Paisley Wiggins also survive.
