He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Spangler, Sr. and Catherine Spangler; his wife Kathleen Spangler; and his brother George Spangler. He is survived by: his sisters, Ellen O'Brien, Edna Ridenour and Sarah Spangler-Colell.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia (13500 Philmont Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19116).
