Robert E. Langevin, 86, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the devoted husband of Barbara (Wilks) Langevin, with whom he shared 65 beautiful years of marriage. Born in North Providence, he was the beloved son of the late Ernest and Ovelina (Laflamme) Langevin. Robert was a loving father to Sharon A. Langevin and her husband, John W. Desch III, and Patricia L. DeSantis and her husband, Dennis. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of Autumn M. DeSantis. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Rita Curtis and Elizabeth Cellucci and her husband, Ronald. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Richard and George Langevin.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Robert married the love of his life, Barbara Wilks, in 1961. He worked for many years as a quality control engineer, most notably with Federal Products Corporation, always providing for his family while making time for what mattered most. He cherished family camping trips and the memories created together. In retirement, Robert and Barbara spent 21 winters in Fort Myers, Florida, where they formed many lasting friendships. Known among his neighbors for his willingness to help with any repair, he enjoyed golfing, cooking, and spending time outdoors.

Above all, Robert loved and cherished his family. Nothing brought him greater joy than the time spent with them, especially with his beloved granddaughter, Autumn. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
