Robert was born on October 23, 1938, in Lottsburg, Virginia to the late Dr. Carrington Leonard Booker and Wilhelmina McDonald Booker.After graduating from the University of Richmond, he worked for 41 years as a mortgage banker. Robert took up flying at a young age and spent many years in the sky. After retiring from the skies, he discovered a love of boating, and spent many wonderful years on Lake Monroe with his late wife Bina H. Booker and many great friends.Robert is survived by his siblings, Carrington L. Booker, Jr. and Virginia Tod Queener.He is also survived by his children, Ann Booker (Dru Stevens) and Jane (Greg) Evans; stepchildren Butch Holliday and Jenny (Larry) Quick; his grandchildren, Jamison (Shannon) D'Agata, Kaitlin Lake, Kelcey Lake, Kyle Holliday, Cooper (Charisse) Holliday, Emmie (Josh) Dean and Kelly Quick. Robert was also blessed with 4 great grandchildren, Oaklyn D'Agata, Eden D'Agata, Penelope Holliday and Claire Dean. In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was also preceded in death by his sister Suzanne M. Booker.Graveside services will be held on April 13, 2026, at the Farnham Baptist Church in Farnham, Virginia.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Dementia Society of America or your local SPCA.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
