Robert Dale Jokumsen

Robert Dale Jokumsen was born on January 2, 1965, in Lynch, Nebraska, to Donald and Joyce (Holz) Jokumsen. He graduated from Fremont High School in 1983 and briefly attended Hastings College. For many years, Bob drove truck and hauled produce before moving in 2005 to the family farm at Sunshine Bottom, where he spent the rest of his life. He passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 9, 2026, at the age of 61.

Bob found quiet enjoyment in watching sports on television, especially NASCAR. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle whose presence meant a great deal to those who knew him best.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Jokumsen of Derby, Kansas; his siblings, Donnette (Adam) Garrett of Fremont, Nebraska, Barbara Jokumsen of Fremont, Nebraska, James Jokumsen of Erie, Colorado, and Jennifer (Justin) Strobel of Derby, Kansas; nieces and nephews Nicole (Jon) Harre, Andrew Jokumsen, Kaitlyn (Josh) Walker, and Zach Strobel; and great-nieces Ellie Harre and Blake Jokumsen. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald, and his nephew, Nathan Reker.
