Robert D. Floyd

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert D. Floyd (Scottsdale, Arizona), born in Portland, Oregon, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2026 at the age of 89. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Swenson (Doug) of Walla Walla, WA, Barbra-Jean Skalleberg of Cumming, GA, Bobbi-Jo Floyd (Jeff Hancock) of Richland, WA and Brook Floyd (Barbara Wheeler Floyd) of Fort Wayne, IN; and his sisters, Carol Palomino and Twyla Kabatchick. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 27th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery (6500 E Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254). A reception will be held on Friday, March 27th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Valley or Foster Care or an agency that helps the Blind, would be much appreciated.
