Robert Calvin Statnick

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Calvin Statnick (Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Statnick and Dorothy Statnick (Wildrick); his brother Joseph Statnick; and his daughter Sharon Geritz. He is survived by: his wife Bethel Statnick; his children, Donna Shaffer (John) of Tunkhannock and Robert Alan Statnick of Centermoreland; his sister Betty Ann Howell of Centermoreland; his grandchildren, Anwyn Statnick (David), Kristina Shaffer (David), Amy Shaffer (Jason), Jessica Fetzko (David) and Jake Shaffer (Mikaela); and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Ollie Mae, Jade Dunn, Roselie, Elaina and June Shaffer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home (123 W Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657). The military honors will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
