Omaha - Robert C. Hoff, age 85, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026. He was born on December 19, 1940, and lived a life defined by faith, dedication, and deep love for his family.
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Navy from the late 1950s into the early 1960s. Following his service, he built a life centered on hard work and commitment, spending 42 years with the same company before retiring. His strong work ethic and quiet determination were evident in all he did.
A man of enduring faith, Robert was an active member of his church community. He not only worshipped faithfully but also gave generously of his time, helping to organize and develop a community garden that provided fresh vegetables to families in need. Gardening was one of his great joys, and over the years he cultivated a wide variety of vegetables, flowers, and plants.
Robert shared over 60 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Ann, who preceded him in death in 2020. Together they built a strong and caring family, raising four children and welcoming countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren into their lives. He was eagerly anticipating the arrival of a great-great-grandchild this coming June—a testament to the legacy of love he created.
He was a man of many talents and passions. An avid stamp collector, Robert was actively involved in his local stamp club and enjoyed volunteering at a collectibles store after retirement, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with others. He was also a skilled carpenter, crafting projects both large and small. His family will forever treasure the many handmade pieces he created with care and precision.
Above all, Robert will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his devotion to family, his generous spirit, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the family he cherished, and the many gifts of his hands and heart.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
