Robert Burk Emery

Robert Burk Emery, 61, of Conneaut, Ohio, formerly of Toronto, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2026, in the Cleveland VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on October 23, 1964, in Steubenville, Ohio, Rob was the son of the late Burk Emery and Eileen Deatrice (Campbell) Emery, who survives him.

A journeyman maintenance mechanic, Rob found joy in caring for his guns and riding his motorcycle. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, having served during peacetime from 1984 to 1990. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa F. (Jackson) Emery, on February 1, 2014, his mother-in-law Mary Ellen Weber, his nephew Zachary Emery, and his sister-in-law Sheryl Walker.

Rob is survived by his mother, Eileen, of The Villages, Florida; his daughter, Shelby (Roderick) Croff of Warren, Ohio; his sons, Robbie Emery of Mercer, Pennsylvania, and Matthew Emery of Conneaut, Ohio; his brother, Jeff Emery of Orlando, Florida; and eight grandchildren, Cameron, Calvin, Cassidy, Kali, Roderick Jr., Journi, Daenerys, and Joseph.

He wished for his remains, along with those of his wife, to be buried at sea by the United States Navy.
