Robert B Kelley

February 13, 1934 March 10, 2026

Livonia, MI

Robert Bernard Kelley, born Robert Kieliszewski on February 13, 1934, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at the age of 92. A man of deep faith, quiet strength, and unwavering loyalty, Bob lived a life centered on hard work, family, and service to others. He retired from Ford Motor Company after a long and dedicated career marked by reliability and an exceptional work ethic. A U.S. Army veteran, he later served his church and community through the Knights of Columbus and in various roles at St. Priscilla’s Catholic Church in Livonia, Michigan. He often reminded those he loved to always give 110 percent and to be ten minutes early.

The heart of Bob’s life was his family. He shared 68 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Margaret (Marge) Kelley, and together they created a large and loving family bound by shared joys, sports fandom—especially as devoted MSU Spartans—travel adventures, golf, and a love of reading. Bob cherished every moment spent watching his children and grandchildren, offering steady guidance and quiet support throughout their lives.

He is survived by his wife, Marge; his children, Greg (Cindy) Kelley, Kevin (Mary) Kelley, Kris (Bob) Peterson, Karen (Dan) O’Brien, and Mary (Kurt) Barton; his grandchildren, Emily, Maggie, Ian, Alyssa, Lindsey, David, Kaylee, Quinton, Wyatt, Jacob, and Hannah; and his great-grandchildren, Aliyah, Ethan, Aubrey, Charlotte, Apollo, and Leona. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Mary Kieliszewski, his siblings Richard Kelley and Mary Lou Wyrembelski, and his aunts Rose Daly and Sister Mary Ida.
