Robert A LaChance

He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline LaChance (Turgeon); and his parents, Armand LaChance and Rhea LaChance (LaFlamme). He is survived by: his children, Catherine Festo (John) of New Canaan, Michael LaChance (Vivien) of Seymour and David LaChance of Woodstock; his brother James LaChance (Nancy) of Guilford; his grandchildren, Cynthia Poplaski (Nicholas), Lauren LaChance, Timothy Festo (Rose Capomolla) and Brittany LaChance; and his great grandchildren, Lilah Poplaski, Mason Poplaski and Dustin Festo.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Valade Funeral Home (23 Main St, North Grosvenor Dale, CT 06255). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Church (18 Main St, North Grosvenor Dale, CT 06255).

In lieu of flowers due to the Lenten season, memorial donations in Robert's memory may be made to St. Joseph Food Pantry, P.O. Box 665, Putnam, CT 06260 or Thompson Lions Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 28, Thompson, CT 06277, for a student that wish to pursue a career in education.
