Robert A. "Bob" Klute Jr.

Robert A. “Bob” Klute Jr. passed away on March 4, 2026. For 45 years he devoted himself to his work at Con-Quip and Mills Supply, where he formed many lasting friendships. A devoted sports fan who followed every team but held a special place in his heart for the Cincinnati Reds, Bob also enjoyed playing softball and had a deep passion for horse racing.

He was a proud member of 7 Hills Church and a steadfast supporter of the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, quietly giving back to the community he cared about. Bob took great pride in maintaining a beautiful yard and was known by all as a big joker who never missed an opportunity to make people laugh and brighten their day.

Above all, his greatest pride was his family. He shared 40 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Patty Klute. He leaves behind his children, Steve (Andi) Klute, Kevin (Amy) Klute, and Bobbi Jo Hudson; his cherished grandchildren, Ryan (Loralee), Julia, Payton, Carter, Dane, and Chloe; his great-grandchildren, Ella, Rylee, and Xander; and his sister, Debbie Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jane Klute Sr., and his sister, Karen “KK” Stephan.

Bob will be laid to rest at Burlington Cemetery.
