Robbie Shyanne Sowell

Robbie Shyanne Sowell of Mount Vernon entered eternal rest on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 17. She was born in Abilene, Texas on March 24, 2008, to Lisa Marie Sowell and Corey Cathey.

A light in her parents’ world, Robbie was her father’s princess and could do no wrong in his eyes. She lovingly called herself the “Little Big Sister” to her siblings and took that role to heart, always looking out for them. An animal lover through and through, her family affectionately referred to her as an “animal whisperer.” She also found joy in baking and, above all, cherished her time as a devoted and loving mother to her children.

Robbie is preceded in death by her son, Asher Tate Cochran, paternal grandparents Terry and Nancy Cathey, uncles Justin and Patrick Cathey, as well as her maternal grandparents and great-grandparents. She is survived by her parents, Lisa Marie and Corey Cathey; her fiancé, Dylan Seth Cochran; her children, Colter Cathey and Meadow Cochran; sisters Marissa and husband Mason, Misty, and Hannah and husband Kaden; brothers Hunter and wife Kaylee, Wyatt, Rusty, Michael, and Ray Don; in-laws Mike and Karen Cochran; best friend Skylar North; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
