River Carl Cook

River Carl Cook, beloved son of Sabrina Michelle Cook and Lee Fletcher, entered and departed this world on March 10, 2026, in Tallahassee, Florida. Though his time on earth was brief, he left a profound and lasting impact on the hearts of his family, who had eagerly awaited his arrival.

River was deeply loved by his grandparents David Cook, Katrina Cook, and Earl Lee Star, and his great-grandparents Winford Cook, Artis Lott, and Debra Hendrix. He is also remembered with great affection by his aunts Kayla Pridgen (Charles), Breanni Cook, Trisha Cook, Brenda Scarborough (Scottie), and Joyce Fletcher, and his uncles Josh Miller, Scott Cook (Samantha), Tyler Cook, and David Cook, Jr. He was preceded in death by his grandparent Brandy Lee Fletcher and great-grandparents Charlotte Lott and Steve Hendrix.

River’s brief life served as a tender reminder of the fragility of life and the enduring power of love.
